Musculoskeletal help and advice
Before referring yourself, please remember that a lot of aches and pains can be improved by following simple advice. Read more about how you can help yourself.
If you attend long meetings or sit at your desk for long periods, take a look at our 5 in 5 leaflet and do the 5 stretches in 5 minutes every day or at every meeting. Why not get everyone involved!
If you are a staff member then you can self-refer to one of the dedicated physiotherapy staff treatment teams working across the county. You will be provided with an initial assessment and ongoing treatment as required for your musculoskeletal condition. At the current time there are two different ways of referring depending on which trust you were previously employed by.
²gether employees
Old 2gether staff are required to email 2gnft.physio@nhs.net and will then be sent a referral form to complete. On receipt of this referral form an appointment will be made for the individual. Please do not approach local physiotherapy departments as they do not have the capacity to deal with referrals.
Please be aware that whilst every effort will be made to accommodate an appointment in your closest locality, it may be that an appointment is available sooner in another location. In order to offer support and advice as quickly as possible, being willing to travel if you are able would be of great benefit.
Gloucestershire Care Services employees
Old GCS staff are required to complete a self-referral form via the website, please click here. This will then be picked up by our dedicated staff treatment physiotherapist and you will be offered an appointment.
