Stress & Personal Resilience

Working Well has developed a new set of documents to support line managers in completing a Stress Risk Assessment.
These are designed to help make this process as easy as possible for both the individual and the line manager, focusing on what can be done to support someone who may be showing signs of work-related stress. There are three steps to the process:

  1. The individual completes the checklist on their own
  2. The line manager reviews the checklist and reviews the guidance
  3. The line manager meets with the individual to discuss the way forward

If no improvement is seen, then managers should make a management referral to Working Well, forwarding a copy of the completed Risk Assessment.
