Before referring yourself, please remember that a lot of aches and pains can be improved by following simple advice. Read more about how you can help yourself.

If you attend long meetings or sit at your desk for long periods, take a look at our 5 in 5 leaflet and do the 5 stretches in 5 minutes every day or at every meeting. Why not get everyone involved!

If you are a staff member then you can self-refer to one of the dedicated physiotherapy staff treatment teams working across the county.  You will be provided with an initial assessment and ongoing treatment as required for your musculoskeletal condition.  At the current time there are two different ways of referring depending on which trust you were previously employed by.

If you are a staff member of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust then you can self-refer to the dedicated physiotherapy staff treatment team working across the county.  You will be provided with an initial assessment and ongoing treatment as required for your musculoskeletal condition.  At the current time this support may be provided over the telephone or video call, there will be very limited access to face to face assessments due to the current Pandemic.  You will need to complete the following form ‘Click Here’ and then email it to adultmskphysiotherapy@ghc.nhs.uk

Cheltenham and Gloucester

If you think you would benefit from physiotherapy and you live in either Cheltenham or Gloucester, use this link to self refer to Physio Call Back, a service provided by Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Gloucestershire

If you live in the surrounding areas of Gloucestershire, this link will give you the local number to ring so that you can refer yourself to services provided by Gloucestershire Care Services.

Herefordshire
